我是初三(147)班的。很荣幸这次能在开学典礼上代表初三同学发言。
进入初三，我们主要的任务当然是学习、学习、再学习，努力、努力、再努力。各门功课应全面发展，提高效率。“知识就是力量”，让我们做一个符合新世纪要求的优秀青年，为建设祖国的未来打下坚实的基础。
当然，我觉得学习主要是讲究方法，而不是拘泥古板，打时间仗，死记硬背，应当活学活用。
上课时我们要专心听讲，多思多问，与老师积极配合，解决预习中的疑难问题，紧守每一节课，向每一节课的每一分钟要质量。
课后复习相对于预习更关键，重要的不是知识的数量，而是知识的质量。不断巩固学过的知识，使它们在脑中生根发芽，并茁壮成长。重复是学习之母，它不仅能帮助我们巩固知识，更重要的是能梳理知识，斯宾塞曾说过：“如果一个人的知识缺乏条理，那他的知识越多，他就越感到困惑不解。”
同学们，只要我们能珍惜时间，那么机会就会在我们手上，我相信初三这一年一定会带给我们更多惊喜。
同学们，青春是人生之花，人生的最大悲痛莫过于辜负青春，让我们携起手来一起努力吧!
Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years .We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

Your current expectations have much more power and influence than anything that has occurred in your past. For it is your current expectations that give direction to your energy and your actions.
Choose to make that direction a positive, valuable, creative one. From even the most burdensome difficulty, you can begin to move forward immediately.
Base your expectations on your most treasured dreams and your most profound purpose, rather than on life's random events or circumstances. And nothing will be able to hold you back for long.
When someone looks into your eyes they should see something alive withinyou. Having a dream is like owning a lighthouse1 which directs you on yourjourney.
At every turn we come across its mystery. At each new level we become moreof the person we were meant to become. In lonely times, when we pass through astorm of disappointment, we find our faith is unshaken, our strength stillstrong.
Believe in your faith. Set the vision before your eyes. Write down yourmost sincere dreams and when the opportunity comes, step into your dream. It maytake one season or more, but the result is the same. Make big dreams and then goout and make them realities. The highest hopes of the dreamer are revealed withevery step taken in their journey to the impossible. For a season we mustprotect the dream so that it can grow quietly on the inside. But if we tenderlycare for our deepest expectations, slowly but surely the dream will become newlife.
Dreaming is an act of faith. The light of your expectations will cast offthe shadows of a disbelieving world. God has given us the dreamer as a gift tolight an unbelieving world.
Find your treasure within and cherish2 it. Tomorrow is waiting for you totake the first step.
If I had my life to live over……I would have talked less and listened more.I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was strained andthe sofa faded. I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather rambleabout his youth. I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on asummer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed. I would have burnedthe pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage. I would havesat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains. I wouldhave cried and laughed less while watching television - and more while watchinglife. I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earthwould go into a holding patter if I were not there for the day. I would neverhave bought anything just because it was practical，would not show soil or wasguaranteed to last a life time.
