【学习目标】一、Important language points (重要知识点) 1. discussion名词，“讨论，商量” have a discussion (about sth.)“（就…）讨论” discuss动词，“讨论”，常用搭配discuss sth. with sb.“和某人讨论某事” 例句：What are you having a discussion about?你们在讨论什么？

We had a discussion about buying a house.我们讨论买房的事情了。

They are discussing the problem with the teachers.他们正在和老师们讨论这个问题。 重点2.happen v.①指“(偶然)发生；出现”，主语是表示事物的名词或代词，不能是人。 记忆 ②指“碰巧”时，主语可以是人。 happen用法如下： Sth. happened to sb. 意为“某人发生了某事”

Sth. happened +地点/时间 意为“某地/某时发生了某事” Sb. happened to do sth. 意为“某人碰巧做了某事”

happen一般用来强调某事发生的偶然性,take place表示事先安排或有准备的事情或活动发生例句：(1)A car accident happened to his elder brother this morning.今天上午他哥哥出了车祸。 (2)The story happened in America.这个故事发生在美国。

(3)I happened to meet a friend in the street yesterday. 昨天我碰巧在街上遇到一个朋友。 3.follow the story跟着故事情节 follow me跟着我一起 4. may情态动词，“可能，也许”， 与 be一起用作谓语，意思是“可能是，也许是” 注意辨析：maybe与may be maybe副词，作状语，意思是“或许，大概”，相当于perhaps

may be“情态动词+动词原形”结构，作谓语，意思是“可能是，也许是” 例句：She may be angry. =Maybe she is angry.她也许生气了。 拓展：may作情态动词时，还可意为“可以”，用来征求对方的意见或请求许可。如： May I open the window? 我可以打开窗户吗？ 5.expect 动词，意为“预料；期待”，用法如下：

expect (sb.) to do sth. 期盼(某人)做某事I’m expecting you to help me. 我在期待你来帮我。 expect sth.期盼某事/某物 I’m expecting your help.我在期待你的帮助。

expect +that从句 期盼……I’m expecting that you can help me. 我在期待你能来帮我。 6.joke 可数名词“笑话，玩笑”，常用下列短语：

tell a joke，tell jokes讲笑话 play a joke on sb.开某人的玩笑 例如：She likes telling jokes.她喜欢讲笑话。Tom played a joke on me just now.汤姆刚才和我开了个玩笑。7.one day可以表示过去的某一天，也可以表示将来的某一天。 some day表示将来或日后的某一天

8.comedy n.喜剧，喜剧片（复数：comedies）I think comedies are fantastic.我认为喜剧很棒。 二、Key sentences(重点句子)：

1.We had a discussion about TV shows.我们进行了一次关于电视节目的讨论。

在英语中，两个动词连接时，可以在第二个动词前加to，to do可以作前面动词的宾语。如：want to do, plan to do, expect to do, hope to do, would like to do, learn to do, decide to do等。

【学习重难点】1.动词不定式作宾语的用法。2.谈论计划。

【学习过程】 1.复习检查。2.学习2d内容：①学生快速阅读对话并理解其大意，然后根据对话内容写出几个问题，请全班同学回答。②播放录音，学生跟读对话，模仿语音、语调。③学生两人一组分角色练习并表演对话。3.学习Grammar Focus：①学生两人一组朗读Grammar Focus表格中左右两栏的问题和回答；②在黑板上写出几个语言功能：谈论计划、谈论对某种电视节目的看法、询问及说明原因、深入谈论电视节目。然后让学生把语言功能写在相应的问答句旁边。③补全下列对话，让学生通过补全对话巩固上述语言功能。 A: What do you think of _____________________________? 4.完成教材3a-3b的语法练习。本部分重点学习动词不定式作宾语的用法。5.完成自测练习。 【自测练习】一、用所给词的适当形式填空 1、Thank you for (plan) to visit Hong Kong. 2、Do you expect (watch) comedy shows? 3、What Jane (think) of Tell It Like It Is? 4、I don’t mind (watch) game shows. 5、What about (have) a discussion about it ?
