教材分析
本课是英语新标准3年级起点,4年级上册Module2 Unit1 Go straight on.的第一课时。 本单元是以问路、指路为话题展开的。具体内容为: Amy 和Sam 遇到了一只迷路的小狗。通过问路,在一位老爷爷的帮助下,把小狗送回了家。
语言功能是如何用英语问路和指路。本课的重点单词和生词较多,在本课的学习中将加强学生对目标语句:Excuse me. Where’s ?,please? Go straight on. Turn left/right.It’s next to?的听说读写及运用。通过知识渗透和交际练习,让学生理解lost,live, No.2 West Lake Road, supermarket.Thank you so much. You’re welcome.的含义,通过听音、模仿,能够理解和认读这些单词。
本课的语言结构为运用Excuse me. Where’s ?,please?这类语句问路以及Go straight on. Turn left/ right. It’s next to?这类语句指路。
用英语问路和指路对学生来说有一定的难度。针对4年级小学生活泼、好动、喜欢表现的特点,我设计了丰富多彩的活动和贴近生活的情境,以期达到学生乐于模仿,善于表达,主动交流的目的。 教学目标
1.语言知识目标
学生能听懂、会说、能够认读 单词:live, road, supermarket
短语:excuse me, turn left/right, go straight on, next to 句子:Excuse me. Where’s No.2 West Lake Road,please?
2.语言技能目标 能够运用
Excuse me. Where’s ?,please?这类语句问路以及
Go straight on. Turn left/ right. It’s next to?这类语句指路。
3. 情感态度目标
1)在参与活动的过程中,学习与他人交流,增强与人交际的能力。 2)在问路、指路的过程中,培养学生乐于助人的品质。
3)通过为家乡石岛作小导游的活动,培养学生爱家乡,以家乡为荣,为家乡做贡献的情感。
4.学习策略目标

1)通过带着问题看动画、听录音,学会捕捉文中重要信息的技巧。

Step 1 : 活动热身,导入新知
T: Hello,boys and girls. Before class. let’s do some actions. Look at me, please.(师边说边动作)
Step 2: 呈现文本,学习新知 1.初步感知课文内容
(1) T: Are you happy? I’m happy, too. But- what’s this?(出示Doudou照片) Ss: Dog.T:Yes
T:it’s a dog. It’s Doudou. Doudou is sad. Doudou isn’t happy. Why ? Let’s watch the video and answer the question. What’s wrong with Doudou?
(2) 回答问题,引出新句This dog is lost.(利用单词卡片学习lost ) (3) 跟读、模仿课文原句This dog is lost.
2. 再次观看课文,学习句型 “I live in No.2 West Lake Road.” (1) T: This dog is lost. It can’t find home. (贴小狗图在黑板某位置上)

2) 回答问题,呈现答案。学习No.2 West Lake Road (3) 跟读、模仿课文原句: I live in No.2 West Lake Road 3.分段学习,突破重点 (1) T:You know, s No.2 West Lake Road?
(2) 师问一生: Excuse me . Where’s No.2 West Lake Road, please? Where does Doudou live? 小狗Doudou住在哪里? No.2 West Lake Road
(利用卡片学习Excuse me .) 引导学生回答: I don’t know.
T: Let’s ask her/him together. (师生共同问第三个学生。) 引导学生回答: I don’t know.
T:Let’s ask the old man together.(课件呈现老师图片) Ss: Excuse me . Where’s No.2 West Lake Road, please?
T: Oh, the old man can’t hear it very clearly. Louder, please. Ss: Excuse me . Where isNo.2 West Lake Road, please? Excuse me. Where’s No. 2 West Lake Road , please.
(3) 学习Turn left. T: “Left means??”
预设Ss: 左边。 利用卡片学习Turn left, 并板书。 巩固:Say and do
师生同做“Turn left”动作4遍 ,转个圈。 (4) 同法学习“Go straight on.”,“Turn right.”
(5)Chant 巩固 6)学习next to

师生共同回答: Turn left . Go straight on . Turn right. T: It’s next to a supermarket. 利用卡片学习supermarket. 跟读,模仿It’s next to a supermarket. Step3 :机械操练,巩固提高
T:Look! Where’s No.2 West Lake Road. Do you know? First , listen to Picture 3 to 6 and try to imitate. Pracise in pairs. Look , Which pair is best . 同桌展示
2. 听音模仿、角色扮演

(2) Practise in groups. Choose your favourite person and try to read in roles.
